Each paper is 40 marks and takes about 35 minutes. Grade 5 is the highest grade available at Foundation tier.

Before you start

The audio is spoken by your own device, so check it works before the timer starts. Male speakers are read by a male voice and female speakers by a female voice. Change any of the three below if one sounds wrong.

How it works

Each question has its own play button. Every part is announced by its number, read, then read a second time, with writing time before the next one.
You can replay any question as often as you like. Pressing play while it is running starts it again from the beginning.
Pause at the top stops the audio mid-sentence and picks up where it left off.
Section A answers are written in English. Section B is a dictation, written in Spanish.
Letters, multiple choice and the dictation are marked for you. Answers written in English you mark yourself against the answers shown.
